Mrs. Brown, as we knew her, always had a smile on her face. A warm invitation into her home on a hot summer day, was followed with a cold drink and a snack, and time to see how we were all doing. She was never in too big of a hurry, never out of sorts, just a vintage Mom that seems so few and far between these 'too busy days.' I will always remember those days fondly, and though we were pretty sweaty from playing basketball, Craig's sisters and Dad were there with a smile as well. 'Mrs. Brown' raised a great family and showed a lot of love...not much more you can ask of a Mom. Rest in peace and joy, in your new Mansion on High.

Jo was a very special lady and a good friend of my family. First as a friend to my parents then later to me too. She was supportive not only of the Lynchburg Suburban Woman's Club but also in the individual members. Her smile and gentle manner will be greatly missed.
