Patricia Joy “Pat” Motley Proctor, 74, of Goode, passed away on June 4, 2026. She was born in Arlington VA on January 16, 1952. A daughter of the late Nelson Eugene Motley and Edna Campbell Motley. In addition to her parents Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lawrence Proctor and a son, Matthew Proctor.
Pat was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She loved her family and always looked forward to spending time with each of them, especially her grandkids. She was a huge Washington Nationals and Washington Redskins fan. She enjoyed watching her hummingbirds, trips to the beach and the grocery store. Her family will miss her in the days ahead, but her legacy will continue through each of them.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Tammy Proctor; grandchildren, Kala Thaxton (Samuel), Tiarra Morrison (Tracy), Talya Oakley, Camryn Proctor (Rolando Gonzalez), Daylan Proctor and Tatum Proctor; great grandchildren, August Thaxton, Everett Thaxton, Tracy Morrison and Enya Gonzalez; her best friends, Jeanie Gorman, Karen Parks and Brenda Sisson. Also surviving are her friends who were like family, Chase Johnston, Nathael Lopez, Mari Lopez and Alexis Hahn.

A memorial service and celebration of Pat’s life will be conducted at 6:00pm on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Tharp Funeral Chapel in Bedford.
