David Earl Ramsey

David Earl Ramsey, 67, of Madison Heights, passed away Monday, June 1, 2026.

David was born November 5, 1958, in Lynchburg, Virginia, a son of the late Arthur Ramsey, Sr. and Blanche Wells Ramsey. David was retired as a professional tile worker and loved history, especially metal detecting for Civil War relics.

He is survived by his daughter Stacy Ramsey of Lovingston, his siblings: Cynthia Holt (Gary) of Waynesboro, Arthur Ramsey of Madison Heights, Ronnie Ramsey of Madison Heights, Shelia Woody (Steve) of Monroe, Debrorah Allen (Jason) of Madison Heights, Chad Ramsey and Steven Ramsey both of Colorado.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Tharp Funeral Home Madison Heights.

Interment will be held privately at a later date.
