Yolanda Nichols Miller
Yolanda Michelle Nichols Miller, 37, of Bedford, suddenly went to be with the Lord Sunday, September 26, 2010 in Bedford Memorial Hospital. Born September 8, 1973 in Bedford, VA, a daughter of Gloria Jean Wright Nichols and the late William Michael Nichols.
She was a member of Blue Ridge Baptist Church and an employee of Carriage Hill Retirement Center.
In addition to her mother, Yolanda is survived by her husband, Shawn Antoine Miller; two daughters, Akilah Nichols and Shauna Nichols; three sisters, Shonna Lawrence, Jelisa Hobson, Christina Wright; a brother, Gregory Hobson, Jr.; a stepfather, Gregory Hobson; and a God mother, Linda Alexander of Bedford.
A celebration of Yolanda\"™s life will be conducted at 3 PM, Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Blue Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Gary L. Alexander officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until time of service at the church. Arrangements by Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford, 586-3443.
