William Charles Graham

William Charles Graham, 75, of Bedford passed away on July 12, 2025, at his residence. He was born on February 4, 1950, in Bedford to the late John Everett Graham and Mary Vernelle Merritt Graham. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Everett “Jimmy” Graham.

Billy graduated from Liberty High School. He was a dedicated member of the Town of Bedford Police Department for 26 years. Beyond his professional life, William was known for his strong ties to the community. He was a member of the Bedford Moose Lodge. In his free time, Billy enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his nephews, Michael Graham and wife, Sharon and David Graham and wife, Tarry; great-nephews, Scott Graham and wife, Kristen, Alex “Felix” Graham and Jason “Jasper” Blackerby and wife, Erin and great- great nieces and nephews, Everett Graham, Iris Graham, Willow Blackerby and Wesley Blackerby.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Tharp Funeral Chapel, Bedford. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
