William David Caldwell, Sr., 85, of Lynchburg, VA, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024. He was the husband of Marie Caldwell for 60 wonderful years.
William was born on July 10, 1938, to the late William M. Caldwell and Grace Caldwell.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, William Caldwell, Jr. (Susan); granddaughter, Megan Mitchell (Jordan); grandson-in-law, Zach Hutcherson; great-grandchildren, Lynsey, Graham, Corabeth, Evelyn, and Imogene; and many other loving family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Amanda Hutcherson.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
