Wilbur Kermit Bostic, 90, of Bedford, passed away Friday, December 14, 2012. Born December 27, 1921; he was a son of the late James Everette Bostic and Annie Burman Reynolds Bostic. In addition to his parents; Wilbur was preceded in death by four brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his loving wife, Hazel; daughters, Shirley Ann Bostic and fiancé, Qmon Dixon of Lynchburg, and Bonnie Sue Hawkins of Bedford; grandchildren, Brian Lee Bostic and finacée, Breanna Jones of Lynchburg, and Shian Nicole Mitchell of Lynchburg; a great-grandchild, Brian Lee Bostic, Jr. of Lynchburg; a sister, Naomi Landers of Orange; a brother, James Bostic of Woodbridge; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral service will take place at 1PM, Tuesday, December 18, 2012, in the Chapel of Tharp Funeral Home. Friends will be received Monday, December 17, 2012, from 3 until 5 PM at Tharp Funeral Home.
