Wanda Lee Tolley Welch, 73, of Bedford, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at her residence. She was born on August 29, 1952, in Roanoke to the late Robert John Tolley and Mary Alice Flippo Tolley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Paul Welch; son, Lonnie Welch; grandson, Joseph Jackson; sister, Betty Reid and mother-in-law, Artie Overstreet.

She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Welch Jackson; grandchildren, Megan Madrill and husband Timmy, Tyler Welch, Garrett Whorley and Evan Whorley; great-grandchildren, Easton, Lily, Paisley, Ashton and Colt; brother-in-law’s, Burt Reid, Wesley Overstreet and Donald Overstreet; sister-in-law’s, Jeanette Harding and Diane Carter and special friend, Herman Cupp.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Tharp Funeral Chapel, Bedford with Rev. Robert Manley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service
