Vera Louise Peters

Vera Louise Peters born on Oct. 12, 1939 in Little Hocking, Ohio went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 30, 2024. 

She is preceded in death by her daughter Karen Peters Hart and is survived by her loving husband of 67 years Pastor Dave Peters, two daughters Debbie Read (Brian), Ginger Hahn (Rob), two sons David Ray Peters (Cheryl) and Ricky Peters (Carolyn). Vera leaves behind a beautiful legacy in that of her 14 grandchildren and 51 great grandchildren. 

She retired from the Amherst County Public School System after many years of service. She was a loving, devoted wife and devoted Christian. Vera cherished her children and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. 

A visitation will be held from 1:00 till 2:00p.m at Bethel Baptist Church in Amherst followed by a Celebration of Vera’s life at 2:00 on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024. Burial will follow at Briarwood Memorial Gardens.
