Teresa Ann Wiley, age 60, passed away peacefully at her home in Rustburg, VA, on July 15, 2026. She was born on May 8, 1966 in Lynchburg, VA, to the late Garvis Ralph Wiley and Priscilla Ann Wiley.

Teresa was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose kind heart and gentle spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. She had a beautiful smile, a compassionate soul, and a way of making those around her feel loved and welcomed. She found joy in spending time with her family and creating memories that will be cherished forever.

Teresa shared an especially close and unbreakable bond with her mother, sister, and two brothers. Their relationship was built on a lifetime of love, laughter, and unwavering support. The memories they shared will forever be treasured by those who know the depth of their love for one another.

She is survived by her siblings, Ronnie Wiley, Kimberly Tuggle and her husband, Stephen, and Michael Wiley. She is also survived by her beloved nieces and nephews: Jimmy Tuggle and his wife, Juli and their daughters, Baylee and Bristol; Johnny Tuggle and his wife, Shelly and their sons, Connor and Ethan; Garvis Tuggle and his wife, Sierra; Etta Conner and her husband, Steven and their children, Ryleigh, Adam, Violet, and Gage; Kimber Franklin and her husband, Trey and their children, Bryson, Logan, Olivia, and Mason; Kayla Wiley, Dreama Wiley, and Gracie Wiley.

Teresa leaves behind countless family members and friends who will miss her deeply. Although our hearts are broken, we are grateful for the love she shared so freely and the lasting impact she made on our lives. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family will never be forgotten.

Though she is no longer with us, Teresa’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her. We find comfort in knowing that love never ends and that those we hold dear remain with us always through memories we shall cherish.

She will be forever loved, forever missed, and forever remembered.

A visitation will be held at Tharp Funeral Home on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 6:00-8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at Tharp Funeral Home on Friday, July 24, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
