Tammy Lynn Padgett Holmes, 56, of Forest, Virginia, passed away on April 20, 2026.
Tammy was born on August 28, 1969, in Lynchburg, Virginia, to Howard Lee Padgett and Dara Johnson Padgett. She spent her life rooted in family, connection, and the simple moments that meant the most.
Tammy worked as a beautician in the cosmetic industry, a role that reflected her love for helping others feel seen and cared for. She truly loved doing hair and took pride in making others feel beautiful. She had a natural gift for conversation and connection, and she cherished time spent talking with those she loved.
More than anything, Tammy loved her family. She especially loved talking with her daughter, Madison Holmes, and FaceTiming her son, Zachary Holmes. Those conversations were a constant in her life and something she deeply looked forward to. She also found great joy in hearing about her grandchildren and their wrestling tournaments, which always brought her pride and a smile.
In addition to her two children, Tammy is also survived by her two grandchildren, Lillianna Holmes and Piper Holmes; cousins, Megan Bryant and Erin Ullery; aunt, Millie Auxier; uncle, Bobby Auxier; and loved ones who will continue to carry her memory forward.
She will be remembered for her warm spirit, her love for her family, and the way she made time for the people who mattered most.
