Sue Kelly Droog, 64, of Rustburg died Monday December 12, 2011 in Lynchburg.
Sue was born January 14, 1947 in Lynchburg a daughter of the late Rawliegh Kelly and Geraldine Bullock Kelly. Sue worked as a licensed CNA and loved spending time with her grandchildren and her \"four legged companions\". Sue was a member of Rustburg Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children; Tim Dudley and wife Becky of Spout Springs; Michelle Boyd and husband James of Rustburg; Tabatha Droog and husband D.J. of Concord; Scott Atkins and wife Jackie of Rustburg; and Diane Coffey and husband Robert of Richmond; two grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and four adopted grandchildren, and one brother Dennis Kelly of Rustburg.
A Celebration of Sue\"™s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday December 17, 2011 at Tharp Funeral Home Chapel Lynchburg with Pastor Rick Cole officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Lynchburg Humane Society 3305 Naval Reserve Road Lynchburg, VA 24501.
