Stephanie Dawn Witt (Royer), 57, of Forest, Virginia, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 21, 2026. Though her passing was sudden and unexpected, her family finds peace in knowing she has been made completely whole and is now free from pain in the arms of Jesus.
Born on October 11, 1968, in Waynesboro, Virginia, Stephanie was the beloved daughter of Dennis Royer Sr. and Barbara Royer.
Stephanie lived a life marked by compassion, resilience, and unwavering faith. She courageously overcame multiple battles with cancer throughout her life, inspiring countless people with her strength and trust in God.
Stephanie attended Spirt of Life Church and her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her five grandchildren and three bonus children, who were the light of her life.
Stephanie was the proud owner of Steph's Bubbles & Bows Pet Grooming & Boutique. Through her business, she built lifelong friendships and found countless ways to serve and give back to the community she loved.
In addition to her parents, Stephanie is survived by her grandmother, Evangeline (Van) Toth; her brother, Denny Royer (Amara), her daughter, Brittany Wood (Justin), and their children, Blakely and Emery; her daughter, Brianna Daniel (Cody), and their children, Cleo, Claire, and Clyde; her loving husband, Kevin Witt and her bonus children, Auvin (Jailyn), Christian, and Carter; her nephew Eric Duncan and family; along with numerous Aunts, Cousins, dear friends, and faithful clients.
Flowers may be sent in Stephanie's memory. Those wishing to express their condolences in another way may make a memorial contribution to a childhood cancer foundation of their choice.

A visitation will be held at Tharp Funeral Home on Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 6:00-8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at Tharp Funeral Home on Friday, July 31, 2026, at 12:00 PM. Interment will be held privately. At the family’s request, please wear your colorful Sunday best.
