Sky “Yepper” Perez, 57, of Lynchburg went to be with his Lord on Thursday, November 19, 2020. He was the devoted husband of Elizabeth D. Perez for 29 years.
Sky was born on September 8, 1963 in St. Croix, of the U.S. Virgin Islands. He was the son of the late Louis Perez and Marina Rivera Perez. Sky worked in Logistics with Framatome for many years and was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two sisters, Maribel Perez and Sarah LaCasce, his mother-in-law Jeanette Dunnavant, his brother-in-law Berkley Dunnavant and wife Patti, two nieces, Kristin and Kayla Dunnavant, a close friend who he considered like a brother Brian Freerksen and wife Nancy and their children, and numerous other close friends. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother Angel Perez.
A Celebration of Sky’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Pleasant View Baptist Church with Pastor Ricky Ewing officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
