Sharon L. English

Sharon L. English, 76, of Lynchburg, Virginia peacefully passed away on July 10, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Sharon was born on October 31, 1948, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Sharon was a nurturing wife and mother. She was passionate about her hobbies, which included gardening, animals (both her pets and in nature), traveling, cooking, and music.

Sharon was the daughter of the late Cecil and Alice Rodgers, and she is survived by her husband, Larry English; sons, Garrett Gsell and Zachary Burroughs; granddaughter, Aleyda Fowler; and her parrot, Jack. Sharon’s remains will be scattered in her favorite bodies of water in a private event to be held at a later date.
