Scott William Mayberry, 46, of Roanoke, Virginia passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at home. He was born in Norway, Maine on November 27,1979 to the late David Linwood Mayberry, Sr.

Scott graduated from Oxford High School in Maine. He moved to Virginia in 2014 and made Virginia his home. Scott believed everyone should get a second chance. He was a simple man, he would say just simply “pay it forward” to help his fellow man.

Scott is survived by his fiancé, Wendy StClair and her family; brother, David Mayberry; and Lots of friends and co-workers.

A celebration of Scott’s life will be held at Independence Park, located at 1198 Venhorst Drive, Bedford, VA 24523, on Friday, August 28, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m
