Samuel Berlin Jones

Samuel Berlin Jones, 70, of Moneta passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024. He was born on January 16, 1954, to the late James Willian Jones, Sr, and Grace Persinger Jones. In addition to his parents Samuel was preceded in death by sister, Faye Calvert; brother-in-law, Larry Calvert; beloved cat, Pee Wee.

 Samuel was hardworking, giving and lived a simple life. He was devoted to caring for his mother for many years. Samuel was an avid traveler for most of his life. He was employed by MW/Ply Gem for 43 years. 

 He is survived by his brothers, Danny Jones and wife Carolyn, James W. Jones, Jr; devoted friend and caregiver, Sandy Nichols; longtime friends, Pete Deffinbaugh and Joe Porter; beloved dog, Girl; numerous other family and friends.

 A Funeral Service will be held 11:00am Friday, May 3, 2024, at Tharp Funeral Chapel, Bedford, with Pastor Michael Kohl officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00, Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford.
