Sallie Bogle

Sallie McWillie Freeman Bogle passed away quietly, Saturday Sept. 21, 2013, at home in the company of her loving family. She was born July 18, 1949 in Coronado, CA to Sallie Harris Rodgers and Ross Edmonston Freeman. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved brother, Peter Lawrence Freeman.

Her survivors include her husband, Robert Williams Bogle, and their children Elizabeth Corrie Bogle and Robert Walker Williams Bogle. Also surviving are two brothers, Ross Edmonston Freeman, Jr. and Tucker Gerard Freeman, as well as her stepmother, Helen Walker Freeman.

The family wishes to extend its sincere thanks to all of the wonderful care givers who touched Sallie\"™s life and to her many friends who gave her love and support.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday Sept. 27, 2013 at St. John\"™s Episcopal Church, Lynchburg, VA. A reception will follow the service.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sallie\"™s name can be made to St. John\"™s Episcopal Church Day School, Holy Cross Catholic Church or the Allen B. Pearson Cancer Center.
