Ruth Charlene Murray (Robbins) died Thursday, January 10, 2013, at her home in Lynchburg.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate her life at Tharp Funeral Home Chapel in Lynchburg on Friday, January 18, 2013, at 2:00 PM. The reverend William A. Jester will officiate. Interment will follow at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Library and Resources Center, Department of the Blind and Visually Impaired DBVI, Attention Director Barbara McCarthy, 395 Azalea Drive, Richmond, VA, 23227.
