Rosa Mae found great joy in caring for those she loved. She was known for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and the comfort she brought to others through her kindness and her cooking. She lovingly cared for her children, grandchildren, and family, and her home was a place of love, wisdom, and peace. Her presence was a blessing to all who knew her, and her legacy of faith, strength, and devotion will forever remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Lewis Horsley; her son, Raymond Lewis Horsley Jr.; her daughter-in-law, Lisha Horsley; her parents, Jesse and Lillian Boxley; and her brothers; Joe, Roosevelt, and Oscar Boxley.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory her loving son, Jerry Horsley; her dear sister, Gracy Horsley; her sister-in-law, Rachel Banks (Leslie); her beloved grandchildren, Lauren Horsley, Jerome Horsley (Bree), Michael Horsley, Raymond Horsley, Jenny Horsley, Ebony Horsley, Shannon Horsley Douglas, and Kristen Horsley Banks; a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; her nieces, Lisa Bottoms (Sean), Estelle Spinner, and Terisa Horsley; her nephew, Roger Horsley Jr.; and a host of other loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, church family, and dear friends.

Mrs. Horsley’s life was a beautiful reflection of love, faith, and devotion. She was the heart of her family, a steady presence, and a source of strength and comfort to those around her.
