Ronnie Dale Staton, 58, passed away on July 20, 2016 at Virginia Baptist Hospital in Lynchburg, VA.
Born on January 21, 1958 in Lynchburg, he was the son of Patricia Anne Staton and the late Clinton Elwood Staton.
Ronnie is survived by his daughter, Lisa Dawn Norwood of Lynchburg, Va.; son, Bradford Wayne Staton of Charlottesville, Va.; brother, Barry K. Staton and wife Debra; nephew, Trevor K. Staton, all of Rural Hall, NC.; and a granddaughter, Olivia Quinn Norwood of Lynchburg, Va.
A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday July 22, 2016 at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
