Roger Dale Mitchell, Sr.

Roger Dale Mitchell, Sr., 67, of Appomattox, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. He was the son of late Era Elizabeth Mitchell and Richard Charles Mitchell.

Roger was born on March 29, 1957, in Lynchburg, VA. He spent his career as a truck driver and had a strong interest in diesel mechanics.

In addition to his father, Roger is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mamie Louise Mitchell; children, Roger Mitchell, Jr., Jamie Mitchell, Jason Mitchell, and Brandon Mitchell; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
