Roger was born July 2, 1963, son of Shirley M. Ayres and Fate D. Garland. During the course of his life, he owned and operated several antique auctions and shops. Antiques was his passion. He was very skilled at appraising them and was highly respected in the antiques community.
He was also a member of Blue Ridge Community Church for the last 2 years.
