Roberta Collis Mays

Roberta Collis Mays, 66, of Lynchburg passed away Friday, November 17, 2023.

Roberta was born in Jefferson County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Hugh Collis and Helen Sisk Collis.

She was preceded in death by her husband David Mays.

Roberta is survived by her son Christopher Shade and wife Donna of Martinsburg, WV, her daughter Elizabeth Jenkins and husband Brian of Rustburg, one sister Carla Hardy, five grandchildren: Ashlyn, Brianna, Lucas, Abigail, and Smantha, and two great-grandchildren, Tia and Leigh.    

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.

Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
