Robert Thomas Ramsey (Bobby)

Robert Thomas Ramsey (Bobby), 89 of Madison Heights, Virginia passed away peacefully on August 22, 2026, at Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born on August 6, 1937, in Lynchburg, Virginia to the late, Robert D. Ramsey and lacey B. Ramsey Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Ann Carrol.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 70 years, Patricia C. Ramsey; his daughter, Sharon R. Hedrick and his son, Robert M. Ramsey; his three grandsons, Robert M. Hedrick, Christopher S. Hedrick, and Jody V. Ramsey; nine great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson; and his sister, Margaret Garcia.

Bobby worked for Mead Corporation and Rock Tenn for over 40 years of service. In his younger years he loved to hunt and fish. After retirement, he loved just sitting in his recliner and watching the news.

In accordance with his final wishes, no services will be held.
