Robert Earl Luckhard

Robert Earl “Bob” Luckhard, 69, of Forest died on Sunday, September 1, 2019. He leaves behind his cherished wife Marilyn and loving son Michael. Brother to Debbie ( Quinten ) Seraficao and the late Linda (Roy) Geisel, son of the late Ralph A. and Dorothy M. (Frank) Luckhard.

Bob worked 43 years designing systems fpr our nuclear submarines. He was a “family man” who was always willing to help anyone. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to laugh and spent time with the family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Tharp Funeral Home on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and welcome at their home immediately after the service.

In lieu of flowers in Bob’s memory donate to a Vietnam Veteran charity of your choice.

Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
