Rhonda Renee Rose Hobson, 59, of Roanoke, Virginia died March 29,2026. She was born January 26, 1967 In Heidelberg, Germany. Rhonda was a beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend whose life was defined by love, strength, creativity, and a deep devotion to her family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Rose; her father, James Rose Sr.; her sister, Donna Rose Terry; and her brother, James Rose Jr. She leaves behind her loving husband, David Hobson; her cherished aunts, Hazel Page and Mary Jones; her beloved adopted daughter and niece, Cherrie Rose; along with her other nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close. Rhonda made her home in Roanoke, Virginia, where she created spaces for family to gather, laugh, and make lasting memories. She was a happy woman who loved her family deeply and found joy in bringing people together. She had a beautiful creative spirit and a gift for turning simple things into something meaningful and warm. Whether through decorating, planning gatherings, or creating custom picture frames that memorialized family moments, her creativity was felt by everyone around her. Rhonda was a devoted daughter and a protector of her family, showing quiet strength and care, especially during difficult times. Though she did not have children of her own, she poured her love into those around her. Her life was guided by her devotion to God, which shaped her kindness, strength, and the way she cared for others. Rhonda’s love, laughter, creativity, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
