Rennie Stephen Lowe (Steve), 72, of Moneta Virginia, formally of Gilbert, West Virginia went home to be with his Lord and Savior on the 21st day of July 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family. The son of the late Rennie and Mildred Lowe of Beckley, WV.
Born on July 30, 1953 in Welch, WV.
Steve served in the US Army for 6 years. After his time in the military, he spent 27 years underground in the coal mines of West Virginia. Steve was an avid fisherman that spent most of his retirement on the lake catching fish or playing with his grandchildren. Steve also was a devout christian, who loved the Lord.
Proceeded in death by his loving parents Rennie and Mildred Lowe, two sisters Roma Simmons and Kaye Glandon. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 51 years Sharon Lowe of Moneta, his daughter Stephanie Lowe of Moneta; his grandchildren: Makayla (Matthew) Long of Moneta; Drew (Nicole) Browning of Farmington, Missouri; his great grandchildren; Aliyah Smith, Harper Smith, and Axel Smith all of Moneta; his sisters Mira Horner and Anighta Stratton. Also to cherish his memory is a host of nieces and nephews, and one special friend Jeff Ferrell of Gilbert, WV.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Good Samaritan Hospice for the care that was provided for Steve in his final days.
The family has requested no services.
