It is with profound sorrow and heartfelt love that we announce the passing of Regina Ebeth Rosser Jones, affectionately known as “Geanie” to her family and close friends. Regina departed this life on April 25, 2026, at the age of 55.

Regina was born on August 26, 1970, to Craig Rosser Sr. and Delores R. Wade. She received her early education through Lynchburg City Schools and later pursued her passion for caregiving by earning her Certified Medical Assistant credential from Miller-Motte Business College, along with her Medication Technician certification through the American Red Cross.

Regina dedicated much of her life to caring for others. Through her professional work and personal relationships, she touched countless lives, offering compassion, dignity, and unwavering support. Her nurturing spirit extended far beyond her career; she was known for her kindness, generosity, and genuine love for family and friends. In her leisure time, Regina found great joy in cooking and treasured every moment spent with her loved ones. Her warm, welcoming presence made everyone feel valued and at home.

At a young age, Regina gave her life to Christ at Christ Temple Apostolic Church under the leadership of the late Suffragan Bishop James E. Coker. Her faith remained a guiding force throughout her life.

Regina was united in marriage to Craig Jones, and from this union, two children were born: Jamari “Shawn” Jones and Deonnie “Dee Dee” Jones-George.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory: her beloved husband, Craig Jones; her son, Jamari Jones (Kayla); her daughter, Deonnie Jones-George; her mother and stepfather, Evangelist Delores and Pastor Norman Wade; four sisters, Patrice Rosser (Alvin), Cheryl Scott (Antonio), Tierra Wilder (Jeremy), and Norma Wade; three brothers, Craig Rosser Jr. (Tinika), Kevin Rosser, and Craig Withers; along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

Regina was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Annie and Garfield Reeves.

Regina will be remembered as a loving mother, devoted wife, caring sister, treasured aunt, beloved cousin, and loyal friend. Her life was a beautiful reflection of love, service, and faith. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want…” — Psalm 23:1
