Raymond Crouse Jr.

Raymond Angus “Buster” Crouse, Jr., 70, of Lynchburg passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born on April 25, 1955 to the late Raymond Angus Crouse, Sr and Helen Walker Crouse. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jean Wallace.

Buster was a member of Peakland United Methodist Church and was also the Kiwanis Club of War, West Virginia. He loved college football, especially the University of West Virginia, Nascar and going on family vacations to the beach.

He is survived by his wife, Carin Crouse; children, Joshua Crouse of Virginia, Justin Crouse of Virginia and Jennifer Duncan and husband, Brian of North Carolina; grandchild, Urijah; siblings, Valerie Rose of Virginia, Dyanne Spriggs of West Virginia, Jim Crouse of West Virginia and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2025, at Peakland United Methodist Church with the Rev. Joe Cailles officiating. A reception will follow the service in the church’s fellowship hall.
