Phyllis Lynn Swain

Phyllis Lynn Swain, 69, of Lynchburg, Virginia passed away Thursday, September 4, 2025. Born on June 22, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Claude Edward Swain, Sr. and Julia Swain.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Jackie Marie Swain and Sarah Swain Collins; and brother, Claude Edward Swain, Jr. (Eddie)

She is survived by her sister, Pamela Swain Anderson of Buckingham; nieces, Tammy Swain and Teresa Jose; and nephews, Albert M. Collins, Jr. and Kramer Anderson, IV.

At Phyllis’ request, there will not be any services.

Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
