Phillip Lynn Lucas passed away peacefully at home at the age of 77. Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Michael. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Linda, son Daryl (Patti), daughter Debbie (Randy), and brother Ronnie (Sandra). Grandchildren Savannah (Zach), Sydney (Noah), and bonus grandchildren Randy Jr and Hunter. Great grandchildren Brooks and Adalynn.
Lynn was a skilled and detailed mechanic at Magic City Ford for 35 years, solving problems no one else could fix. If it had wheels, he was tinkering with it. That career made him valuable at his true passion, racing. He was never in need of a spot light and simply enjoyed being part of the team. He had an ability to not only keep things running fast, but well.
The trait that set him apart was his dedication to the joy of his grandchildren. He spent his days hunting for the best go carts, battery cars, and four wheelers to fill their home full of laughter and cherished memories.
Lynn was a quiet man that either spoke with wisdom, knowledge, or comedy. He was great at one liners but never knew it.
