Peggy Pritchett

Peggy Phillips Pritchett passed away on April 9, 2026, with her loving husband by her side. She was born on January 2, 1948, to the late Garland E. Phillips and Anne Coleman Phillips. 

She is survived by her husband, Wayland Pritchett; daughter, Casey P. Bourne (Geoffrey); grandson, River Bourne; granddaughter, Madalyn Bourne; and a sister, Penny P. Tolley (Steve). \

Peggy attended E.C. Glass and graduated from Brookville High School and worked in electronic companies Galileo, GE, Ericsson, and Harris.

 Family was always first to her. She provided meals and a loving home. Peggy was called Momma by so many, always welcoming everyone into her life and home. She loved to cook for her loved ones, and you were not leaving without eating. Peggy was a gift and she will be missed.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg.

A Celebration of Peggy’s Life will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday April 15, 2026, in the chapel of Tharp Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Wiser officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
