Peggy Jane Gillespie, 64, of Lynchburg passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021.
She graduated from E.C. Glass High School in 1975 and later graduated from Central Virginia Community College with an Associate’s degree. She retired from First Colony Life Insurance & G.E. Financial.
Survivors are her sister Pamela Delores Gillespie; first cousins, Bernie Harris and wife, Brenda, Jesse Harris and wife, Judy, Harry Harris and wife, Joan; distant first cousins, Patricia “Trish” Harmon and Dwightel Hill Ivey.
Services will be held in Fort Hill Mausoleum Chapel at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 24, 2021, with George B. Harris officiating.
In lieu of flowers please consider donations to the Lynchburg Humane Society.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
