Pauline A. Rada, 74, of Huddleston, VA. formally of Lincroft, N.J. passed away on Monday, April 24, 2017 at home with her loving husband, Joseph F. Rada, Jr. holding her hand as he always did.
Born in NYC and given to parents Arthur and Mary Luhman, Pauline was a remarkable wife, mother, grandmother and future great grandmother. She lived most of her life in New Jersey before retiring with her husband to “The Lake” A dream they both made come true together.
In addition to her husband, Pauline is survived by her two sons: Joseph F. Rada, III (Rita) of Howell, New Jersey and Raymond Rada (Bernadette); brother: Ronnie Luhman and many nieces and nephews.
Pauline was the proud grandmother of Joseph F. IV, Michael, Jack and Luke who referred to her as Gamo, in addition, Samantha Devito (Chris), Courtney, and Raymond, Jr. who called her Nana.
During her last few months she was sent an angel to care for her everyday which she cherished. She will be missed and loved forever and will always be remembered for the words, “Be Safe, Be Happy”.
A Celebration of life for Pauline will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Resurrection Catholic Church, 15353 Moneta Road, Moneta, VA 24124. A reception will follow in Morrow Hall.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 10:00 a.m.
