Patricia Leeming went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 14, 2020. She was predeceased by her parents, Willard and Ruth McLeod, daughter Liz Nelson, and grandson Ben Leeming.
She is survived by her children, Judy Thompson and husband Mike of San Diego, CA and Rick Leeming and his wife Shelia of Lynchburg VA, as well as grandchildren Bill, Gretchen, Josh, Sarah, Julie, Kate, Andy, Brooke, and Amelia.
A woman of many talents and hobbies, Pat spent much of her professional life as a distinguished teacher and national award-winning property manager. She was famous for her hospitality and well-mannered warmth. The voracity with which she celebrated holidays is the stuff of Leeming legend. In addition, she took it upon herself to track the family history as far back as the origins of the country. A loving mother and grandmother, she will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held next year in celebration of Patricia’s life.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
