Patricia Jo Orr Graham

Patricia “Patty” Jo Orr Graham, age 77, passed away at peace in Lynchburg, VA, on February 23, 2026, after bravely battling long-term chronic illness.

She was born January 11, 1949, in Weston, WV, a daughter of the late Virginia Lough and John Warren Orr.

After graduating from Lewis County High School in 1967, Patty attended Marshall University, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Home Economics in 1971. Her work in school was well-received, and she won 1st Place at the WV State Fair for designing and sewing a jacket while attending the university.

It was at Marshall that Patty met her future husband, the late Edward “Eddie” Louis Graham Jr. She used her education to start what she once called her “best” job ever when she and Eddie married in 1974, established the Graham family, and began raising children. Patty was deeply devoted to her family throughout her life and devoted much of her time and skills to helping her parents, children, and grandchildren. She loved her family very much, and they were the most important people in her life.

Patty also loved animals and was keenly interested in horses and dogs throughout her life. She showed Tennessee Walker horses during her high school years, often traveling from Weston, to Lexington, KY for horse shows. Patty was known to always have a terrier as a companion. She became very knowledgeable about Welsh terriers in the early 2000s and began assisting friends with their show dogs as a hobby.

Patty is preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. Graham, Jr.; parents, Virginia Lough and John Warren Orr. She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Graham Berlin (Trey); son, Bradley Harrison Graham (Jami); and grandchildren, Harper Marie Graham and Lillian Kate Graham.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the chapel at Ridgelawn Memorial Park in Huntington, WV at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 2, 2026. The Graham family warmly invites anyone wishing to celebrate and honor Patty to attend.
