Nancy Ann Stewart, age 82, of Lynchburg, Virginia, passed away on July 24, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Donald and Katherine Watson.
Nancy was born on March 10, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan, and her family later moved to Southern California, where she attended Riverside City College. While in college, she also worked at Miller’s Surplus Store, where she met her husband-to-be, Larry. Nancy and Larry were longtime residents of Riverside, California, before moving to Virginia, after several years spent in Kaua’i.
Nancy was a member of Calvary Chapel in Lynchburg. She enjoyed crocheting (adorning many inanimate objects with tiny, crocheted scarves through the years) and volunteering at her church, especially in the correspondence course program.
Nancy is survived by her children, Jennifer Stewart, Don Stewart, and Amy Stewart; grandchildren, Jessika Stewart and Kylie Czajkowski and her husband Kyle; great grandson, Maddox Crenshaw; siblings, Susan Rowland and Jim Watson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her husband Larry, and her younger sister Sally.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 4:00 pm at Calvary Chapel Lynchburg with Pastor Troy Warner officiating. No visitation hours will be held.
