Myra Moss Alexander

Myra Moss Alexander, 84, passed away Monday, November 21, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, William Kenneth Alexander, and her beautiful daughter Ida Alexander Rzepnicki.  Myra was born on November 30, 1926, in Richmond, a daughter of the late Grace Estelle Melton.

She is survived by her very dear sister Jeanette Barnett, of Charlottesville; daughter, Elizabeth Alexander, of Chesapeake; daughter Grace Kimberly Alexander Teeples and her husband Paul, of Richmond; and daughter Jeannette Alexander Prest and her husband Tom, of Lynchburg;  and son-in-law Dale Rzepnicki, of Richmond.  Myra, a mother of four daughters, is survived by 7 grandsons, Alex, Brendan, and Mac Covington, Will and Moss Teeples, and Ryan and Jake Prest.

Myra was a much loved aunt and treasured her relationships with her many nieces and nephews.

A service to honor Myra and her faith will be held at her childhood church, Pine Street Baptist Church, 400 South Pine Street, Richmond, Virginia, at 10:00 on Saturday, November 26, 2011.
