Morgan “River” Audrea Saban, age 28, of Madison Heights, Virginia, passed away on April 28, 2026 due to respiratory failure.
They were born on July 30, 1997 in Radford, Virginia, to Jerry and Michelle Williams. They grew up in Pulaski, Virginia, and graduated from Pulaski High School in 2015. They went on to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Radford University, graduating in 2021.
Morgan was known for being a beacon to those around them and a source of love, acceptance, compassion, and understanding for friends and family alike. They found joy in creative expression through poetry, painting, and creating shadow boxes. They also loved books and music, treasured time spent with their young godson, and delighted in the companionship of their two beloved cats.
Morgan is survived by their husband, Jack Saban; parents, Jerry and Michelle Williams; sister, Ashley Montgomery Cox; niece, Emma Montgomery; nephews, Brandon Montgomery and Aiden Cox; parents-in-law, Alexandar and Candace Saban; sister-in-law, Milena Saban; best friend, Olivia Dickerson, and godson, Apollo; along with many extended family members and dear friends. They were preceded in death by their grandparents, Emmet and Eva Tolbert; and bonus mother, Kay Dickerson.
Morgan was cremated and a private, family viewing was held on May 1. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Morgan “River” Saban will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved them.
