Minnie E. Stevens, 80, of Madison Heights, VA, passed away unexpectedly at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the widow of Ralph Stevens.
Born in Lynchburg, VA., she was the daughter of Massie and Eola Hensen. She worked as a clerk many years with her husband at Pearson, Ambriar Pharmacy, and Jackson’s Drug Store. She enjoyed playing the gaming machines with her daughters, loving on her cats, and being a devoted mother and grandmother. She was a member of Clear View Baptist.
She is predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Ralph Stevens, and her son Michael Stevens.
She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Cash and Michele Stevens; grandchildren, Kerri Ruff, and husband, Dwayne, Stacy Stevens and Meagan St. John; great-grandchildren, Layla and Aiden Ruff, Ella and Maxwell Williams; sister, Nancy Williams and nephew, Thomas Williams.
A graveside service will be held at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Fort Hill Cemetery, Lynchburg, VA, with Pastor Keith Layne officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Lynchburg Humane Society 1211 Old Graves Mill Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24502.
