Michelle “Shelly” Callands, 45, of Lynchburg, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 1, 2019. She was the beloved wife of Tori A. Callands for 8 years and a daughter of Danny “Ken” Childress and Peggy A. Bonnell Childress.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her sons, Tre D. Frank and Brandon T. Frank; her stepdaughter, Cierra Mills; her grandchildren, Zane A. Frank and Paislie T. Frank; her siblings, Tamara Gretz (Drew) and Roy H. Murray, Jr. (Jennifer) and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Celebration of Michelle’s life will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, August 5, 2019, at Tree of Life Ministries, with the Rev. Ray Kingrea officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Tree of Life Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 4, 2019, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg.
