Michael "Mike" Foster Eagle

Michael "Mike" Foster Eagle, 61, of Forest, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2026.

He was born on January 18, 1965, to the late Lloyd and Evelyn Eagle.

Mike was the life of the party and enjoyed many hobbies, including hunting with his special buddy and cousin, J.D., fishing, cheering on the Minnesota Vikings, listening to Elvis, watching Ric Flair, and spending time with his animals. Most of all, he loved traveling with his beloved wife.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Diane Eagle; sister, Vickie Yost (Wendell); brother-in-law, Brian Hensley (Gail); sisters-in-law, Brenda Harlow (Joe) and Denise Owen (Jim); aunt, Dot Hensley; nieces, Becky Epperson (Brandon), Hailey Hudson, Brooke Hudson, Paige Link, and Kelly Cope; nephews, Gene Yost (Alison), James Speake, and Dustin Hensley; great-nieces, Nevaeh Link and Aria Hudson; great-nephews, A.J. Yost, Cameron Epperson, Kendall Link, Finly Link, and Xander Hudson; a soon-to-be great-great-niece, Lanie Epperson; and many other loving family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg, with Pastor Carlton Duck officiating and interment at Fort Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2026, at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg.
