Michael James Hobbs

Michael James Hobbs, 53, of Concord went to be with his Lord Sunday June 12, 2011.

He was the loving husband of Deborah Joy Hobbs for 23 years.

Michael was born August 7, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois a son of the late James Hobbs and Sarah Olson Hobbs of Bardwell, KY. Michael was the Workforce Director for Areva, Inc. for 22 years. He was an active member with Heritage Baptist Church and he especially enjoyed working with the church youth.

In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by his three children; Jessica J Hobbs, Jonathan M Hobbs, and Julie A Hobbs all of Concord, and a brother Steve Hobbs of Chester Springs, PA.

A Celebration of Michael\"™s Life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday June 16, 2011 at Heritage Baptist Church with the Dr. Jerry Kroll and Pastor Steve Hobbs officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:30 am Thursday also at the church. Interment will follow at Virginia Memorial Park.
