Michael Francis Gravelle

Michael Francis Gravelle, 34, of Rustburg, Virginia, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 17, 2026. Born on September 25, 1991, in Hubbardton, Vermont, to William and Rebel Gravelle, Michael grew up alongside his two sisters, Manda Gravelle and Terra Lapage.

In his early years, Michael developed a deep love for fishing and enjoyed wrestling. He spent part of his youth in New York, where he embraced these passions and began building the foundation of his life.

In his early twenties, Michael became the proud father of his first son, Parker. A few years later, he reunited with his loving wife, Brianna, and together they spent five years in New York, building their life as a family. An unexpected opportunity brought them to Virginia, a move marked by the loss of Michael’s mother, Rebel. Shortly after, they joyfully anticipated the arrival of their son Colton.

Michael was predeceased by his second son, Jackson James, and later welcomed their “rainbow baby,” Oliver. He loved riding his motorcycle with his close friends from “Top of da Top,” and his warm, playful personality left a lasting impact on those around him. Known for his kindness and willingness to help others, Michael was a cherished member of his community.

He is survived by his beloved wife Brianna, his sons Parker, Colton, and Oliver, and many nieces and nephews who affectionately called him “Uncle Monkey.” He is also remembered fondly by his brother-in-laws.

Michael will be cremated, and his ashes will be spread among family members. It is said he now rides in the sky alongside his mother and his baby boy.

At this time, no date has been set for a celebration of life, but Michael’s memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
