Melba Leigh Perkins Martin, 66, of Blacksburg, Virginia passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025. She was born March 12, 1959, to Mary Elizabeth Perkins and the late Gerald Perkins.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, David Martin and wife, Kailie; daughter, Frances Stowe and husband, Daniel; grandchildren, Oliva Stowe, Lydia Davis, Alex Davis; and numerous other family and friends.
A gathering to celebrate Melba’s life will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 373 Bill Smith Road Providence, NC 27315.
Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford is assisting the family.
