Matthew Stewart Hamilton, 26, of Bedford, died Sunday, February 7, 2010. Born March 29, 1983 in Bedford, VA, a son of Ann Lewis Hamilton Pennington of Bedford and the late Marvin Leslie Puckett.
In addition to his mother, Matthew is survived by his step-father, Richard Pennington; a daughter, Kylie Hamilton; a son, Elijah Hamilton; his fiancé, Christina Galenas; three brothers, Marvin L. Puckett, Jr. and wife, Melynda, John H. Hamilton and wife, Amy, Nicholas K. Hamilton; two sisters, Alaina K. Hamilton and Mercedes B. Hamilton; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Roanoke Rescue Mission, 402 Fourth St., SE, Roanoke, VA 24013.
A memorial service will be conducted 1 PM, Saturday, February 13, 2010 at The Life Church. Arrangements by Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford, 586-3443.
