Matthew Charles Converse, 32, of Penhook, VA, passed away unexpectedly at Lewis-Gale Medical Center in Salem, VA on Thursday December 3, 2015.
Born July 12, 1983 in Rochester, N.Y. he was a son of Charles William and Theresa Maria Converse. He is also survived by his wife, Jean Eve Jenkins and his brother Andrew Jason Converse; his beautiful daughter; Abigail Jean Converse and many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Matthew is a graduate of the Greece Athena High School and attended 4 years at Norwich University in Vermont.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford is assisting the family.
