Mary Anderson Campbell Williams, affectionately known as Merry Mary, was born on March 19, 1946, in Corbin, Kentucky. With a zest for life that touched everyone she met, she embodied happiness and warmth, earning a reputation for her friendly demeanor and an unyielding ability to connect with others. Sadly, her journey came to an end on December 26, 2025, in Roanoke, Virginia.

Mary was the beloved wife of Carl Allen Williams, and a devoted mother to her two children, Andy Drake and his wife Mherly, and daughter Christy Drake.

Throughout her life, Mary was active in her community. She was very active in organizations such as being a charter member of the Eagles Club and also a member of the Bedford Moose Lodge. She also enjoyed the camaraderie of the Red Hat Club. Her love for travel and shopping was well known, filling her life with cherished memories and adventures.

Mary leaves behind a legacy of joy and friendship that will continue to inspire those who knew her. She is preceded in death by her father, Anderson Campbell, and her mother, Ada Mildred Ellberbe Campbell.

Visitation will be held on January 2, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Tharp Funeral Home - Bedford, located at 320 N Bridge St, Bedford, VA, 24523. All who were touched by Merry Mary's vibrant spirit are invited to gather and celebrate her life. No flowers or donations please.
