Margaret Ruth Cash Goff

Margaret Ruth Cash Goff, 79, of Bedford passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. She was born in Buchanan, VA on March 21, 1938. She was the daughter of the late Frank Lee and Mary Magdelene Goff Cash.
Margaret is also preceded in death by five brothers, Richard, Frank Jr., Robert, Clarence, Aubrey Cash; and a sister, Peggy Cash Walters.
Margaret loved the outdoors. She enjoyed gardening and canning foods that she grew each year. She also enjoyed collecting nic-nacs and collectibles.
She is survived by her two children, Paul Goff and Waunetta Dooley; six grandchildren, Jessica Brown, Rocky Brown, Coty Goff, Luke Goff, Leah Goff and Earl Dooley; sisters, Dessie Bell Cash Smith, Betty Jane Cash Treadway; brother, William Luther Cash; also numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service and celebration of Margaret’s life will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Tharp Funeral Chapel in Bedford with Rev. William Luther Cash officiating. Burial will follow in Hunting Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
